Job description

NYU Langone Health Affiliated Bellevue Hospital Psychiatry Service is seeking board certified/eligiblePsychiatrists for various positions, including:

  • Psychiatrist - Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team
  • Psychiatrist (Nocturnalist) - The Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP)

Qualified MDs are eligible for faculty appointments at a suitable rank with the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

The NYU Bellevue Psychiatry Service is an integral part of New York City’s Health and Hospitals System, the nation’s largest municipal health care system, with a longstanding commitment to excellence and innovation in Public Psychiatry. It is the primary psychiatry and addictions training site for NYU medical students, psychiatry residents, fellows and psychology interns, and also serves as a site for groundbreaking multidisciplinary clinical research.

Our psychiatric services provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to patients with a range of diagnoses and psychosocial complexities. Access is available to a complete range of medical and specialty consultation services. Chinese and/or Spanish speaking clinicians are especially sought.
