Job summary

INVISTA Seaford is seeking Manufacturing Technicians to support 24/7 nylon fiber production. You will read procedures, operate equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure safety and efficiency in a high-volume setting.

The role offers a 12-hour rotating Dupont schedule with 28 work days in an eight-week cycle, 7 consecutive days off, and attractive benefits including vacation, 401K, and health plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and written work instructions.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply procedures and perform quality checks on machines and equipment.
• Safely operate manufacturing equipment in the production area.
• Identify and segregate products according to quality standards.
• Data entry into multiple computer systems.
• Take corrective actions per SOPs.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain clean work areas.
• Work with minimal supervision in a team to achieve area goals.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
