The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests and servers, maintaining Aimbridge Hospitality standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and following the requirements of the Banquet Event Order.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling, which varies according to hotel needs.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
- Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Meet certification requirements applicable to the position, such as Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Set up the bar according to hotel standards and Banquet Event Order to ensure prompt and efficient guest service.
- Perform other tasks or jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
