Job summary

City Safe Partners Inc. is seeking a Security Guard for the Security Operations Department in New York. You will interact with the public daily, perform safety checks, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.

This full-time role offers multiple shifts (morning through overnight), weekly pay, and benefits including medical and dental insurance. Candidates must be fluent in English and ready to work weekends and all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to stand for an entire shift and work outdoors in all weather.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving approach.
• Secure premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance, inspecting buildings and access points.
• Prevent losses by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Complete reports by recording observations and information.
• Candidates must stand for entire tours and may work outdoors in any weather.

• Workdays Available: Candidates should be flexible Monday – Sunday
• Weekly Pay
• Pay Rate: $18.87 to $22.20 per hour
• Must exhibit great customer service skills, will be interacting with the general public daily, and interact with client and staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Each security guard shall be able to stand on their feet for an entire tour and may work outside in any weather element.
• Candidates must be able to understand, speak, and write the English language fluently, and communicate intelligently with personnel and the public.
