Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a Route Service Driver based out of Clifton, NJ, delivering uniforms, linens, and facility supplies to NYC-area customers. You’ll start and end each day at the Clifton facility, operating a box truck on scheduled routes and building strong customer relationships through reliable, professional service.

The role requires physical work, daily lifting up to 50–75 lbs, and navigating urban traffic.

Qualifications

• Experience operating box trucks in New York City routes preferred.
• NJ residence within commuting distance to Clifton, NJ.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck on scheduled NYC routes from Clifton, NJ.
• Deliver and collect uniforms, linens, and facility products at customer locations.
• Provide professional, reliable customer service and represent Dempsey in interactions.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized routes and vehicle; comply with DOT regulations.
