CØMPΛNIUM Hospitality has been retained by an international hospitality group to recruit the General Manager for the upcoming opening of a new flagship restaurant in New York City.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-profile lifestyle venue combining elevated dining, immersive experiences, and vibrant energy targeting a cosmopolitan, trend-driven clientele.

The group behind the project is renowned for its successful venues across Europe and the Middle East, and is now expanding its presence in the U.S. market with a bold, design-forward concept.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the restaurants pre-opening and opening phases, including recruitment, training, setup, and service strategy.
  • Lead day-to-day operations with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, instilling a culture of passion, accountability, and creativity.
  • Ensure commercial performance through revenue growth, cost control, and operational excellence.
  • Represent the brand locally and help build strong visibility within the NYC market.
  • Maintain close collaboration with the owners and creative directors to ensure brand

    consistency and innovation.
Profile we are looking for
  • Proven experience as General Manager (or Director of Operations) in high-end or lifestyle restaurants.
  • Strong exposure to openings and team-building in fast-paced, design-conscious environments.
  • Track record of driving both service excellence and commercial performance.
  • Deep understanding of NYC hospitality culture, trends, and clientele.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on, charismatic, with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest connections
  • International experience is a plus; fluent English required.
