Job summary

Achieve Beyond in NYC, NY is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our pediatric therapy team. You'll conduct evaluations and provide ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings, helping children and families reach their goals.

The position offers a flexible schedule, support from clinical supervisors and a collaborative, ethical work environment. NYS LCSW certification is required, with experience in child assessments valued.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience evaluating children birth - 5 preferred but not required.
• Familiar with using evaluation tools such as ADOS 2 or CARS 2.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings
• Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner
• Write Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and/or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goal
• Determine need for additional assessment per observation and child need
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
