Job summary

G-III Apparel Group's Marc by Marc Jacobs Sportswear team is seeking a Product Development Manager to oversee fabric, trim, and sample development across the seasonal womenswear lineup. You will collaborate with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Production and overseas vendors to ensure timely execution, accurate product construction and adherence to development timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of product development experience in women's sportswear or contemporary apparel.
• Experience in a high SKU-count environment.
• Strong understanding of women's sportswear construction, fabrics, trims and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communication with Design teams, vendors, and suppliers regarding all aspects of sample development.
• Create and update seasonal factory development charts, ensuring accuracy throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Track fabric deliveries from mills to factories and ensure alignment with development timelines.
• Manage and track sample development to ensure timely delivery for seasonal market deadlines.
• Coordinate package deliveries and organize samples efficiently for internal teams.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to track and manage samples.
• Research competitive brands and market trends across relevant price points to support development initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, and Production to support successful product execution.
• Maintain accurate development records, fabric and trim information, and sample tracking documentation.
