Qualifications

• JD required and NY license to practice law in New York State.
• 4–7 years of real estate transactional experience.
• Experience advising cooperative and condominium boards on housing matters.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Represent and advise cooperative and condominium boards in real estate transactions.
• Draft and review proprietary leases, by-laws and house rules.
• Prepare and negotiate AIA contracts and access license agreements.
• Advise on budget, expenses and regulatory issues for housing associations.
• Negotiate access agreements and retail/commercial leases.
• Coordinate with managing agents on day-to-day matters.
