NY-NYC Unarmed Security Officer ($20.60 / hr)

Securemedy, Incorporated is currently hiring for experienced Security Guards to support a security program in Dulles, Va.

Under the guidance and direction of the Program Manager, the Unarmed Security Officer will maintain a command physical presence to deter threats in and around the facility. Follow post orders as prescribed and enforce the policy and safety procedures set forth. The Unarmed Security Officer will be required to :

• Observe and report all anomalies found during the tour of duty
• Maintain detailed time activity logs
• Respond to emergency codes as necessary and follow up with completed incident reports timely
• Provide interior and exterior foot patrols and mobile patrols throughout the facility

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Successful candidates must meet the following requirements :

• Must possess a current NY Security Guard License
• US Citizenship or legal residency
• High School Diploma / GED or higher
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be poised and able to function effectively within high volume, high traffic environment
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass physical exam and drug screening
• Ability to walk / stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to read, write and communicate fluently
• Must possess a Current Valid Photo ID or Driver's License
• Must possess reliable means of transportation
• Must possess a working and reliable telephone number
• Must we able and willing to provide verifiable employment references

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior training and / or experience in security industry.
