About the Assistant Manager Role
The Assistant Manager is a full-time position that assists the club manager in overseeing club operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience. You will be heavily involved with team members onboarding and training, leading the team through task completion, and driving the success of club priorities and KPI goals. Focus will be on behaviors that create an exceptional member experience and ensuring team members have the tools to do so.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead team members to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Model behaviors to provide an outstanding member experience; coach and inspire others to do the same.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns.
- Provide backup staffing support as needed.
- Manage inventory system for cleaning supplies.
- Order club supplies and retail products.
- Track KPI to identify areas of strength and opportunities, and develop plans with the club manager.
- Support the Club Manager with hiring and onboarding new team members.
- Assess and assist in emergency situations.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Greet members/guests and assist with questions or concerns during check-in.
- Promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
- Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
- Answer phones and assist callers.
- Perform membership functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and billing.
- Conduct member tours and assess their needs.
- Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and amenities.
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and clutter-free.
- Perform regular walk-throughs to address safety and cleanliness issues.
- Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly.
Compensation & Benefits
- The hourly pay range is $17.50 to $20.50, with potential variation based on factors unrelated to protected classes.

Your Qualifications
- 9-12 months of customer service experience preferred.
- 9-12 months of supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided).
- Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands
- Standing and moving throughout the club during shifts.
- Communicating in person and on the phone.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Encountering chemicals during shifts.
- Frequent cleaning and sanitizing.
- Moving and bending to accomplish tasks.
