Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo Group in New York seeks an In-House Legal Counsel to support day-to-day legal affairs, draft and negotiate financing and other agreements, and assist in governance matters under New York law.

You will collaborate with senior in-house lawyers and report directly to the Head of Legal, contributing to risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic advice for ISPNY.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Excellent legal drafting skills.
• Knowledge of banking / finance laws and corporate lending practices; knowledge of financial regulatory matters a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Legal Department in day-to-day management of ISPNY’s legal affairs, including drafting and negotiation of financing and other agreements (e.g. vendor agreements, NDAs).
• Support interactions with external counsel and management of litigation matters.
• Assist in corporate governance matters and provide general advice on New York law matters.
• Work closely with ISPNY’s Senior In-House Counsel and report to the Head of Legal.
