Job Title

NX CAM Support and Post Developer

Reporting

Reports to Head, IT Section

Location

East Aurora, NY — onsite. Requires up to 25% domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Field requests for post development from users across Moog and deliver functioning software within project timelines.
• Contribute to post developments routed through Enterprise IT, responsible for developing service roadmaps, reporting, managing customer demand, and implementing continuous improvement efforts.
• Support enterprise IT processes for requisition and delivery of post processors, setting and enforcing technical standards regarding integration methods or code structure.
• Develop and facilitate training for other engineering resources involved in post development.
• Remain engaged in supporting internal customers through the lifecycle of post development, procurement, delivery, and sustainment.
• Support users with NX CAM questions, issues, and drive enterprise CAM configurations.
• Collaborate as part of the Enterprise IT Applications organization, partnering with peers to improve IT services.
• Contribute to the development and growth of capabilities in the organization to support this workstream long term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering discipline, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over four years of progressive technical experience with NX CAM.
• Experience using Post Builder/Post Configurator to create and maintain NX post processors.
• Experience with NX CAD and/or Siemens Teamcenter preferred.
• Experience in NX CAM configuration and journaling automation a plus.
• Strong working experience with a variety of machine controls and machine types.
• Proven aptitude and experience in development of software solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated customer service.

Benefits and Compensation
