Position : Account Executive, NWEA

Location : Remote, Candidates must reside in Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama

Position Summary

As a Strategic Account Executive, your mission is to cultivate high-impact relationships in mid-sized US district accounts, drive lead development, and expand NWEA Partnerships. You'll turbocharge student testing in large districts, craft territory plans for growth, and expertly manage sales opportunities. Collaboration with NWEA's broader organization, including Marketing and Support, is crucial to meet our Partner's evolving needs. And yes, this role comes with the thrill of frequent travel.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the charge in lead development and conversion
  2. Prospect and close opportunities for NWEA Products and Services
  3. Ensure extensive account penetration in each district
  4. Drive revenue growth through new, strategic, and large Partnerships
  5. Develop and own a winning strategy for territory expansion
  6. Foster Partner input in shaping NWEA's product roadmap
  7. Be the influential bridge between our Partners and NWEA's diverse divisions
  8. Be the tireless advocate for our Partners, all while keeping NWEA's mission at the forefront
  9. Navigate complex sales cycles with grace
  10. Stay on the cutting edge with knowledge of NWEA Products and the ever-evolving Education Market
  11. Utilize Salesforce to supercharge Partner opportunities and pipeline management
  12. Present pricing, credit, and terms like a seasoned pro
  13. Embrace the thrill of up to 50% travel

Skills and Abilities

  1. Navigate deals through the sales cycle with finesse
  2. Boast a proven track record of surpassing personal and team goals
  3. Decode complex Partner requirements into sound business decisions
  4. Help define and evaluate partnership agreements
  5. Inspire and unify cross-organizational teams
  6. Apply battle-tested sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Strategic Selling)
  7. Exhibit top-notch project management and organizational skills
  8. Deliver presentations with panache
  9. Live and breathe NWEA's mission and culture
  10. Master the CRM system (Salesforce preferred) for Partner relationship management
  11. Possess a deep understanding of the education market, and wield impactful conversations with key stakeholders
  12. Seamlessly collaborate with the Partner Accounts team and the NWEA organization
  13. Excel in the role, with or without accommodation

Education and Experience

  1. Hold a bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field
  2. Bring 1-5 years of field sales experience, ideally in the educational market
  3. Shine in initiating, acquiring, and growing large and strategic accounts
  4. Have a deep understanding of NWEA products, services, procedures, and implementation
  5. Possess an intricate knowledge of the K-12 education industry and assessment methods.
  6. Ability to travel domestically 50% via car and plane

Salary Range - $90,000 - $95,000 + uncapped commissions
