Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a senior NVH engineer to own the NVH attribute for on/off-road vehicles, lead program and technical development, and represent the customer during development across GPDS phases.

You will collaborate with Body, Powertrain, Chassis, Vehicle Dynamics, CAE, and Simulation teams, create test plans, manage off-site testing, and ensure DVP/CDR requirements including exterior legal noise are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
2–5+ years in Vehicle/Systems NVH development or equivalent
2–5+ years using GPDS deliverables, CAE, and simulation tools/methods in NVH development
2–5+ years with data acquisition and analysis tools including LMS, B&K, DET, PT Diag, and CANalyzer
Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available
Master's Degree preferred
5+ years of relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

Own the NVH attribute for Ford Racing on/off-road vehicles and lead program development.
Plan and execute subsystem and vehicle-level development across GPDS phases.
Serve as point person for assigned programs, communicating workplans and issue resolution.
Create and manage test plans supporting tuning freezes and attribute assessments.
Complete DVP and CDR requirements, including exterior legal noise.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Body, Powertrain, Chassis, Vehicle Dynamics, and CAE teams.
