Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows in Reno, NV is seeking a Pre-K Teacher with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or ECSE) to join our NV Ready classroom at Carano Clubhouse. This full-time salaried role runs 8am to 1pm with prep time, aligned with the school district and our calendar, and includes full employer-paid medical, vision, and dental plans.

The teacher will lead a 10:1 class, plan activities, engage families, and collaborate with a supportive admin team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE or ECSE required or state ARL in Early Childhood.
• Alternative: degree in any field with ARL or 30+ ECE credits.
• Enrolment in an early childhood program with 30 ECE credits acceptable.
• Preference for experience with MS Word and Brightwheel.

• Prepare supplies and materials for lessons and exercises.

Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows needs a Pre-K Teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education or Development for children aged 3-5 for our NV Ready classroom opening at our Carano Clubhouse!

This position is a salaried teacher position aligned with the school district and Boys & Girls Club calendar, including closing for summer break. Instructional hours are expected to be 8am to 1pm, with additional prep time before and after instruction, likely 7:30am to 2pm.

Because the position is funded through the state, this position REQUIRES one of the following qualifications listed in your resume or application:

• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or ECSE
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field and state-approved ARL in Early Childhood
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field and 30 or more ECE college credits
• Enrolled in a college program for an early childhood-related degree with at least 30 completed ECE credits

• planning and leading academic and social-emotional activities in a 10:1 class, and engaging with student families.
