Job summary

Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is currently seeking licensed clinicians to provide therapeutic support and treatment planning for adults and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting. Clinicians will work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, leading group and individual therapy sessions and conducting assessments and discharge planning.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field, Nevada licensure (or intern license) preferred, and

• Current Nevada license (or intern license) as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor preferred.
• CPR and Therapeutic Options training required before new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support and treatment planning for adults and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
• Conduct assessments and discharge planning as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions.
• Maintain current knowledge of social, medical and psychiatric services available in the community and uphold professional boundaries.

Job description

Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is currently seeking licensed clinicians to provide therapeutic support and treatment planning for adults and adolescents in a psychiatric hospital inpatient setting. Clinicians engage as a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, facilitate group and individual therapy, conduct assessments, complete treatment planning and discharge planning. All facilities are accredited by CMS and The Joint Commission, the highest authorities in healthcare. Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Current Nevada license (or intern license) as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor, preferred
• CPR prior to completion of new hire orientation
• Therapeutic Options prior to completion of new hire orientation

Knowledge and Experience

• One (1) year of inpatient clinical work with experience in diagnosis, psychotherapy and assessment-based treatment planning preferred.
• Basic knowledge of human growth and development preferred.
• Maintains current knowledge of social, medical and psychiatric services available within the community.
• Experience with therapeutic limit-setting helpful or an understanding of level systems or other behavior management modalities helpful.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
