Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA is seeking a Food Service Worker/Cook to support dietary services for patients, guests and staff. The role focuses on preparing and serving high-quality meals in a sanitary, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include food production, setting up service areas, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with tray line and room service. Prior hospital or institutional food experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• One to two years of dietary experience, food preparation experience in a hospital, nursing home or school environment preferred.
• Additional courses in food preparation, sanitation and therapeutic diets desired but not required.
