Job summary

San Dieguito Union High School District Nutrition Services in Encinitas is seeking a Production Assistant to perform a full range of food preparation tasks in a school kitchen, including cooking and packaging for service. You may substitute as needed when the supervisor is absent.

Requirements include three years of related experience or college coursework, a high school diploma, and a current food safety manager certification.

Job Summary

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current food safety manager certification (such as ServSafe's "Food Protection Manager Certification" or other certification deemed equivalent by the District). Certification must be submitted at time of application.
• Pre-employment testing and assessment to demonstrate minimum qualifications required for the position.
