Position Details

• Location: Clayton Partnership
• Pay Range: CC-5 Range, $24.47-36.12
• Calendar: 173 Days, 8 hours per day
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
• Reports To: Nutrition Services Director

Responsibilities

1. Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals to students, maintaining friendliness, efficiency, and cleanliness.
2. Supervise and instruct kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and equipment use.
3. Order supplies, verify deliveries, and maintain records of inventory and employee hours.
4. Assist with catering and special events as needed.
5. Participate in staff development and evaluate staff performance.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of food service experience, preferably in school nutrition programs.
• Knowledge of nutrition, child nutrition guidelines, and health department standards.
• Strong communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Criminal background check clearance.

Physical and Work Environment

Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in a hot, humid environment with chemicals and moving machinery.
