Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Nutrition Services Director in Lexington, KY to lead and develop the department’s policies, menus, and budget for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will oversee food production standards, HACCP compliance, and team development to support patient recovery and staff growth.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare nutrition or executive-chef leadership, a Dietetics-related degree, and strong knowledge of hospital food service operations.

Qualifications

• RN/RDN or NDTR or executive chef background required.
• 3-5 years healthcare clinical nutrition or executive chef experience.
• 5+ years healthcare food service management or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and staff the Nutrition Services Department, setting policies for food production and safety.
• Manage department budget, purchasing, receiving and inventory control.
• Coordinate food production for patient meals and cafeteria.
• Set food quality, quantity and portion standards; plan menus for cafeteria and events.
• Ensure sanitation, temperature control and HACCP compliance.

Our patients are recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgery and other serious conditions. Job Details

Requirements

• RD/RDN or NDTR (CDR), CDM (CBDM), or executive chef background
• 3-5 years of healthcare clinical nutrition or executive chef experience
• 5+ years of healthcare food service experience, or 5+ years of management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Culinary Arts or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of hospital food service operations, nutrition/dietetics and HACCP guidelines
