Evanston/Skokie School District 65 is seeking a Food Service Cook to support meal preparation at an assigned site. You will prepare items that meet mandated nutritional guidelines and accommodate student and staff requests.

This role requires relevant experience and a high school diploma. You will verify order quantities, maintain a clean, safe kitchen and work under the Coordinator of Nutrition Services.

The job of Food Service Cook is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service activities at assigned location with specific responsibilities for cooking food items that meet mandated nutritional requirements and/or requests of students and/or school personnel; verifying quantities and specifications of orders; and maintaining facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.

This job reports to Coordinator of Nutrition Services.

Experience: Job related experience is required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay rate: $23.93/hour
