South San Francisco Unified School District is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant I at El Camino High School Central Kitchen. The position runs 5 hours per day from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and involves assisting with preparation and serving of meals under supervision in the central kitchen or at a school site.
This on-site role requires maintaining clean, sanitary facilities and following district nutrition program standards.

In February 2024, the School Board for SSFUSD adopted our new Vision and Five-Year Strategic Plan. As a senior leader, the Director will be responsible for leading and supporting initiatives to ensure the district delivers on its promises in the Strategic Plan.
Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Operations Supervisor, assist in quantity preparation and serving of foods at the central kitchen or assigned school site; assist in maintaining food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description.
Valid and appropriate food service certificate(s).
Incumbents are required to adhere to the annual minimum required training hours for School Nutrition Staff per the USDA Guide to Professional Standards for School Nutritional Programs.
