Powerlink Healthcare Support Services in Chesterfield, MI is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our Foodservice Operations team. You will assist with food preparation, production and inventory control, and ensure kitchen safety and sanitation while following recipes and therapeutic diet guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in customer service, 1+ year in food service, and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service.
Minimum one (1) year of food service experience.
Must be able to speak, read and write English to communicate effectively with others.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours.
Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Must be local to Chesterfield, MI and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and production control.
Support inventory control and ensure kitchen safety and sanitation.
Follow recipes and adhere to therapeutic diets and modified textures/liquids.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist dietary cooks as needed.
Perform general sanitation tasks including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and trash disposal.
