Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a Night-Weekend Food Service Supervisor to optimize daily operations, supervise food production, and maintain safety and quality standards. You will train staff, manage schedules, and ensure efficient service across all stations.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality, strong knowledge of food safety, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with a focus on team development and service quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in hospitality industry.
• CFPM - ServSafe/Food Protection Manager Certification and other state/national certifications.
• English and Spanish communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily operations by managing staffing, minimizing substitutions, and keeping service stations open and efficient.
• Oversee food production and service quality by monitoring temps, cleaning schedules, and safety standards.
• Train staff on inspection criteria, safety practices, and equipment handling.
• Communicate clearly with team members, patients, and leadership; share audit results and feedback.
• Manage performance, scheduling, cross-training, overtime, and agency use; support team development.

Job Description:

• Optimize daily operations by proactively managing staffing levels, minimizing food substitutions, and ensuring all service stations remain open and efficient.
• Oversee food production and service quality by monitoring temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and timely execution of duties, while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Train staff on inspection criteria and safe work practices, including equipment handling, emergency response, and body mechanics, to promote a secure and prepared work environment.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, patients, and leadership through verbal updates and written documentation, sharing audit results and operational feedback.
• Manage employee performance, scheduling, and cross-training while minimizing overtime and agency use; support team development through onboarding, mentoring, and improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
