Job summary

Mounds View Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Service Employee to support daily meal preparation and serving in district kitchens. Work Monday through Friday, 6.0 hours per day, with an ASAP start and competitive hourly pay.

Pay is $20.02/hour plus additional pay based on nutrition certification levels, and benefits include medical, dental and PTO in accordance with the Nutrition Services benefits summary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must obtain SNA Level I certification within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food supplies and assist with meal preparation according to specifications.
• Assist with preparation of food for shipping to other locations.
• Clean equipment and service areas; wash dishes and utensils.
• Set up serving line and assist customers with food service.
• Assist with preparation of sandwiches, desserts, salads and other items.
• Serve food to customers.
• Attend workshops or meetings for growth and training.
• Other duties as assigned.
