Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services teammate to deliver accurate and timely food and tray service to customers and patients while maintaining strict sanitation standards. Responsibilities include assisting with patient traylines, dishroom, call center and cafeteria duties, restocking per par levels, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Position Summary

Responsible for the safe delivery of food and services to customer and/or patients in a timely manner. Maintains sanitation standards throughout the department.

Follows sanitation guidelines Accurate and efficient service of customers/patients Able to perform duties in an accurate and timely manner Restocks inventory per par levels including coolers and trays Records information on appropriate documents Ensures working station area is clean and sanitized Promotes a clean and safe environment of care.

Required Qualifications

Education and Training: High School or equivalent preferred or currently attending High School Food Handler certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire Entry level or food service preferred Good customer relations Able and willing to follow instructions.

The expected pay for this position

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $16.00 - $18.55. The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
