Nutrition Server/Dietary Aide (PT) - Somerfield Health Center

Freedom Pointe at The Villages | Brentwood, TN 37024

Hours: 3:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Somerfield Health Center is a 5-star, 66-bed skilled nursing facility with 11 assisted living suites on the beautiful campus of The Heritage at Brentwood. We are seeking a hospitality-minded Dietary Aides/Food & Nutrition Servers to assist in preparing and serving our health center residents. We value people from all walks of life and all parts of the world who enjoy providing excellent services to our senior residents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Food Services Manager and Registered Dietician, Dietary Aides assist in preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals, salads, and desserts in the health center.
  • Set up and break down tables in health center dining rooms after meals.
  • Transport foods and supplies to and from the health center.
  • Maintain station equipment and work area in a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Work cooperatively with other food and beverage and nursing staff members in providing care and services to senior residents.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in food and nutrition operations in a health care setting preferred.

Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening are required; marijuana not included on pre-hire drug screening.
