Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field; 1–2 years of program/facilities/personnel management in social services with older adults.
• Must obtain ServSafe Certification within one year of employment.
• Licensure/licensure registration from GA Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitian required; provisional license possible with supervisor on staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nutrition programs to meet state guidelines for senior centers and Meals on Wheels.
• Train staff on food safety, sanitation, portion sizes, and temperature control.
• Coordinate with Wellness Center café and MOW vendors for clear communication and issue resolution.
• Develop nutrition education materials, menus, and nutrition analyses for various diets.
• Conduct nutrition assessments and counseling for high-risk clients; provide diet prescriptions per orders.
