Job summary

East Tennessee Human Resource Agency, Inc. is seeking a full-time administrative professional to assist with coordinating daily activities for the Senior Nutrition Program, enter client and volunteer information into the database, and support assessments and reports.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree is preferred), strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and willingness to travel to surrounding counties. A criminal background check is required.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year high school or GED; Associate degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulations for meal delivery to the elderly per Older Americans Act.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to make decisions.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities for the Senior Nutrition Program.
  • Compile data for weekly and monthly reports.
  • Enter client and volunteer information into the program database.
  • Assist with completing assessments, reports, and other documentation.

Job description

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year high school or G.E.D (Associate Degree preferred) supplemented with additional coursework in data processing, accounting, information management, or closely related field;
  • Considerable knowledge of the regulations pertaining to the delivery of meals to the elderly as indicated under Title III of the Older Americans Act;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, dedicated attention to details, and decision making skills; or
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Travel to surrounding counties is required.
