The Senior Alliance in Dearborn, Michigan seeks an administrative program professional to provide direction, support and oversight of nutrition program contractors. You will build relationships with site staff, volunteers and vendors to ensure program requirements are met and operate with integrity and attention to detail.
Responsibilities include site visits, coordination with Wayne County, satisfaction surveys, vendor training, and reporting on program operations to TSA management.
Bachelor’s degree in management (business or non-profit), human services, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in project management or program oversight. Experience collaborating with other organizations.
Position requires the ability to work collaboratively with multiple organizations and individuals to achieve a common goal. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with multiple stakeholders. Is accurate, conscientious and flexible with attention to detail. Is proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access. Accepts direction, is well organized, and can meet deadlines. Willingness to work in a team environment. Must have valid driver’s license. Must have reliable transportation. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate effectively with individuals from all demographic groups. Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to drive to local meal sites on a daily basis and to walk distances required to visit sites. May require walking on uneven surfaces such as outdoor sidewalks. May require entering areas that are not wheelchair-accessible. Ability to drive a vehicle throughout service area. May require lifting up to 40 pounds.
