Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking an experienced Nutrition Services Assistant Director of Operations & Special Programs to lead district-wide menu rollout, vendor coordination, and supply chain management. This role also oversees a la carte programs, SFSP, CACFP, and district catering, ensuring compliance and high quality service across schools.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, implement nutrition software, and drive cost controls while maintaining federal compliance and excellent food

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in food management, nutrition, hospitality, business, or related area.
• Minimum of three years of relevant K-12 school food service experience, including supervision.
• CFPM certification within 3 months of hire (Minnesota).

Responsibilities

• Direct district-wide operations for menus, vendor logistics, and supply chains.
• Oversee nutrition software database, recipes, nutrient analysis, and pricing.
• Supervise staff, manage staffing, onboarding, and annual evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with USDA programs and school nutrition standards.
• Coordinate summer meals, CACFP, and district catering operations.
