Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking.
• Experience working with young children preferred, but not required.
• Food handler's certificate or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals for children meeting nutritional requirements.
• Maintain allergy records and communicate allergy info to teachers daily with food deliveries.
• Follow food safety, handling, sanitation, and storage procedures per licensing requirements.
• Place weekly food and supply orders and manage inventory.
