Morrison Healthcare at Mayo Clinic invites applications for a Nutrition Lab Technician who will help prepare formula and breast milk for neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adult populations. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nurses, registered dietitians, and other care team members regarding breast milk and formula orders.
• Prepare breast milk and formula accurately using established recipes and sanitation procedures.
• Calculate breast milk recipes based on desired volume.
• Navigate computer software to print labels and patient lists.
• Identify and label formula and breast milk.
• Deliver prepared feedings throughout the hospital.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces.
• Receive formula and breast milk products and monitor inventory levels and expiration dates.

Job Summary

As a Nutrition Lab Technician for Morrison Healthcare at Mayo Clinic, you will be working on a team that prepares formula and breast milk for neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adult populations. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and are detail oriented. We welcome people with all backgrounds to apply as training will be provided.

Pay:

starts at $23.25/hour based on experience, eligible for overtime pay

Work Schedule:

• Full Time (30-40 hours/week) OR Part Time (16-29 hours)
• 8 hour shifts
• Hours are variable from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Prior education and/or experience is preferred but not required.
