Job summary

Good Samaritan, a long-standing not-for-profit in Auburn, NE, seeks a Nutrition and Food Services leader. You will manage daily operations, oversee menu planning, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance across diets and meal service.

Role includes budgeting support, staff training, and collaboration with IT to improve processes while maintaining a patient‑centered, Christian environment. Full‑time hours; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Advanced education is preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in the hired area.
• CDM certification or registered dietitian preferred.
• If necessary, Serv Safe certification within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of Nutrition and Food Services.
• Oversees diet and menu planning.
• Monitors dispensing and distribution of food and related supplies.
• Implements quality management methods and measures; ensures continuous improvement.
• Assists with budgeting and department cost tracking; supports staffing and hiring decisions.
• Collaborates on training and development of staff; ensures regulatory compliance.
