Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking an Inventory/Receiving associate for the Nutrition Services department at St. George Regional Hospital. The role supports receiving, storing, rotating stock, and distributing food and non-food items, while maintaining proper temperatures and cleanliness in the storage areas.

The position is full-time at 40 hours per week, with a flexible start between 5am and 2pm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and education assistance; lifting up to 50 pounds is

Qualifications

  • Current food handler's permit
  • 1+ year of experience in food services or warehouse inventory
  • Ability to communicate with department and medical staff
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply procedures and instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to use a power pallet jack and other equipment

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify shipments with packing slips and PO numbers.
  • Store materials following FIFO and label products per procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized receiving area and dock.
  • Picks and distributes orders according to production needs.
  • Document disbursement and transfers in data systems.
  • Operate labeling and staging for containers and supplies.
  • Comply with HACCP, Joint Commission, OSHA standards.
  • Move heavy inventory and equipment as required during shift

Click here for more detailsEssential FunctionsJob EssentialsReceiving and Storage Functions:Receives and verifies physical shipment with packing slips and purchase orders and notifies Culinary procurement of discrepancies. Identifies damaged or missing items to expedite credits and refuses sub-standard productsStocks materials in proper storage locations following FIFO and labels products according to department procedures.
