About the Role

We’re looking for a freelance Nutrition Copywriter to help us build a new in-app service that delivers personalized, science-backed nutrition and health content. You’ll create short-form educational copy, challenges, quizzes, and nudges that guide users through improving their diet and building healthy habits.

Responsibilities

Create short-form educational copy, challenges, quizzes, and nudges
Guide users through improving their diet and building healthy habits
Contribute to a library of content which spans across different areas of nutrition and different skill levels
Write educational blurbs, quiz content, motivational nudges, and more
Collaborate with content and product teams
Attend a small number of virtual meetings
Work via Slack, Google Sheets, and Notion
Deliver content briefs with roughly one working week turnaround

You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

Hold a Registered Dietitian certification, BSc in Nutrition, or are an MD with a nutrition focus
Have experience writing UX micro-copy or behavior-change content for digital apps (nice to have but not essential)
Have a portfolio demonstrating at least one nutrition/health-related project, including a brief summary of your role
Can adapt tone and style based on audience needs
Are organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working asynchronously with occasional virtual meetings
Have strong attention to detail and can explain complex ideas simply

Terms of Cooperation

Project-based freelance contract
Duration: mid-June to mid-September
Estimated ~30 hours per week
Collaboration via Slack, Google Sheets, and Notion
A small amount of synchronous work/attendance of virtual meetings will be required
