Job summary

The Crittenton Center is seeking a Nutrition Coordinator to manage meals and snacks for children in the Child Development Center. Under supervision of the Center Director, you will ensure adherence to nutrition guidelines and maintain food safety protocols.

Responsibilities include ordering food weekly, maintaining required paperwork, and performing daily fridge temperature checks in a busy early childhood setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Criminal Background and Abuse checks required, plus an up-to-date physical including a TB test.
• A fingerprint background check is required for all Child Development Programs.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record sufficient to qualify for agency automobile coverage.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certifications.

• Sets the tables in each room and cleans up after meals.
• Performs a daily check of refrigerator temperatures to ensure compliance standards.

The role routinely comes into contact with clients who may have a variety of illness and varying degrees of hygiene. The job also includes frequent exposure to outside weather conditions. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
