Concord Hospital seeks a Nutrition Care Representative to coordinate patient meal orders, ensure diet accuracy, and supervise tray-line processes. You will obtain orders from patients or visitors, verify diet constraints, and support timely meal delivery in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities include maintaining the patient admissions list in the ADT/ordering system, processing diet orders in the EMR, and communicating with care teams to meet dietary needs.
Shifts run from 615am to 3pm and also 1030 to 7pm
Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Manager - Nutrition Services and the general guidance of the Director - Food Services, Food Service Lead or Cook Resource the Nutrition Care Representative is responsible for coordinating the assembly of patient meals during the tray line process, as well as obtaining meal orders from patients and/or visitors. Responsible for ensuring meals ordered meet patient's dietary parameters.
For employees who hold both a Cook and Nutrition Care Representative position, they may be required to cover a food service worker shift. When covering a food service worker shift the employee will be paid at their primary rate. For any employee who has two positions that are not Cook and Nutrition Care Representative, they will be paid at rates appropriate to each position. For example an employee with Cook and NCR role who covers a food service worker position, will be paid at cook rate. An employee who has a cook and food service worker position, and covers food service worker position---will be paid at food service worker rate.
