Job summary

UR Thompson Health's Diet Office is seeking a team-oriented individual to assist with menu selections and patient profile updates, ensuring accurate data in our clinical software. You will interact directly with patients to support diet plans and meal service.

You will work in a department that values input on menu items, tri-fold innovations, and adapting to changes in health care delivery. Shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.

Job description

• Schedule: Must be able to work shifts during days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• What will you do?
• As a member of the Diet Office team, you will work with other team members with direct patient interaction in menu selections and assist in updating patient profile information in our departmental software system.
• We take pride in serving a high‑quality hot meal three times a day, choosing from a menu that is custom‑made to the diet prescribed.
• Be part of a department where your input matters, from choosing new items from a tri‑fold menu, operating in the Department's Diet Office, and including innovation in the ever‑changing health care environment.
