Providence is seeking a Diet Aide to support nutritional care under the direction of a Registered Dietitian and the Manager of Nutrition Services at our Petaluma facility. You will assist with nutritional care, clerical tasks, and food preparation while maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships to ensure high-quality service for patients across all ages.

Description

Under the direction of a Registered Dietician and the Manager of Nutrition Services, the Diet Aide participates in nutritional care and treatment of patients by performing a variety of clerical tasks related to patient care. The Diet Aide is also responsible for maintaining interdepartmental and intradepartmental relationships and communications related to clinical nutrition services. Performs food preparation duties as assigned. Delivers quality nutritional care in accordance with the specific needs of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Interacts with patients and their families in an age-appropriate manner.
