Job Summary:
The Food Service Worker prepares, assembles, and delivers meals, nourishments, and supplements to patients. Maintains food quality and ensures a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and assembles food, special meals, baby formulas, and tube feedings.
- Delivers and retrieves patient meals, and delivers nourishment and supplements.
- Maintains food safety standards and a safe work environment.
- Participates as a team member within the division/department.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Technical Capabilities:
- Customer Service (Novice): Demonstrates the ability to influence customers, verify and clarify needs, respond efficiently to requests, and keep customers informed.
- Hosting & Reception (Novice): Possesses basic proficiency in hosting and reception tasks.
- FDA/USDA Regulations (Novice): Understands and applies FDA and USDA regulations.
- Food Production (Novice): Demonstrates fundamental skills in food production.

- Performs routine tasks impacting team performance with occasional guidance.
- Uses discretion and research to solve routine problems.
- Applies knowledge of standards and procedures relevant to the role.

Position Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience of 1 year preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
