Essentia Deer River Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant to support patient and customer meal service. The role involves food service, food preparation, inventory checks, dishwashing, cleaning, and stocking of service areas, with interaction with customers and cash handling.

You will work 0.8 FTE in a Day/Eve rotation in Minnesota, with weekends and holidays required. The position is union-represented (DRH SEIU) and requires strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality and nutritious foods to patients and customers through daily operations.
• Involves food service, food preparation, inventory monitoring, dishwashing, cleaning, and stocking of food service areas.
• Performs setup and service in patient service areas, including interacting with customers and cash handling.
