Mercy is seeking a nutrition assistant to support hospital food service operations. The role focuses on proficiency across nutrition assistant duties, ensuring routine tasks are completed and staffing adjusted as needed to cover open positions.
You will work with the Diet Office team, assisting with scheduling, task assignments, and special projects, while contributing to ongoing quality improvement efforts in a collaborative environment.
Demonstrates proficiency in all nutrition assistant positions. Takes responsibility of routine operations. Ensures tasks for all positions are completed as scheduled. Directs the efforts of others. Makes staffing adjustments to cover open positions. Assists Systems Analyst/Diet Office Coordinator with scheduling, task assignments and special projects. Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent
