Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourNutrition Assistant, you will helppatients, guests, and staff at St. Joseph's Medical Centerby supporting all aspects of healthcare food service operations so they canreceive optimal nutritional care and an excellent customer service experience.This role is critical to maintaining a high-quality, patient-centric environment.

Every day you willprepare and serve food according to menu guidelines and dietary requirements, maintaining strict adherence to foodservice industry standards and regulations.You will be expected tomonitor food temperatures during cooking, storage, and holding, prevent cross-contamination, and ensure proper labeling and storage of all food products and equipment, in addition to potentially performing cashiering, tray assembly and delivery, or catering functions.

To be successful in this role, you willhave a high school diploma or GED.You will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to follow instructions, manage workload efficiently, and maintain professional communication with all stakeholders. Experience in a similar fast-paced environment where compliance with strict hygiene and food safety protocols is paramount will be highly beneficial.
