Holy Cross Hospital Mountain Point in Lehi, Utah is hiring a Nutrition Assistant I to participate in and support all aspects of healthcare foodservice operations. You will help ensure efficient, high-quality food service and patient care with a strong focus on customer service and safety.

You will work with facility staff to meet dietary and wellness needs, follow standards, and assist with cashiering, food preparation, and meal delivery.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• If a Food Handler Permit is required by state/local health code, obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Follow healthcare foodservice standards: monitor food temperatures, prevent cross-contamination, maintain personal hygiene and sanitation.
• Label and store food, equipment, and machinery per facility guidelines.
• Prepare and serve food per menu and dietary requirements; address allergies.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience with proper meal portioning and presentation.
• Perform cashiering, retail service, cold food prep, and patient-tray assembly and delivery.
• Complete utility and maintenance tasks, dishwashing, catering support, inventory, and cleaning.

Every day, you will work alongside facility staff to provide optimal nutritional care to our patients. Your contributions will help ensure that we meet the dietary and wellness needs of those we serve.

• Follow healthcare foodservice industry standards and regulations, including monitoring food temperatures, preventing cross-contamination, and adhering to strict personal hygiene and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain proper labeling and storage protocols for all food products, equipment, and machinery in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Prepare and serve food based on menu and dietary requirements, utilizing necessary kitchen equipment while remaining knowledgeable of ingredients to address food allergy requests.
• Ensure a high-quality customer experience by following organizational standards for proper meal portioning and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
• Perform essential operational tasks, including cashiering, retail service, cold food preparation, and the assembly, delivery, and retrieval of patient trays.
• Complete necessary utility and maintenance assignments, such as dishwashing, catering support, inventory management, and general cleaning of equipment and work areas.

Pay Range
