Job Summary

The Nutrition & Food Service Assistant provides quality customer meals through snack and meal preparation, assembly, service, and cleanup.

Work Hours

24 hours per pay period, from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.

Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance required.
Essential Functions
  • Operate the dish room and serving areas, including food preparation, inventory, and service of hot and cold foods.
  • Record temperatures of hot foods, refrigerators, and freezers; maintain required records.
  • Clean and store cafeteria items, including dishes, utensils, and pans.
  • Assist with catering functions such as assembly, setup, delivery, and retrieval.
  • Manage cafeteria inventory, including restocking, pricing, labeling, and vending.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain department standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
