Job Summary: The overall purpose of the Nutrition Services Aide position is to assist in delivering nutrition services. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food, setting tables and trays, washing dishes and utensils, performing cleaning tasks, and delivering soiled linens to laundry.

Qualifications
  • Current state Food Handler Certificate.
  • Experience in food service and using food service equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Essential Functions
  • Ensure sanitation and quality standards are met.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, utensils.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment as assigned.
  • Complete logs as required.
  • Prepare dining tables and patient trays with appropriate items.
  • Assist in food preparation and serving.
  • Serve beverages and nourishments as needed.
  • Perform cleaning tasks per schedule.
  • Maintain safety and identify hazards.
  • Handle linens and tray tickets.
  • Assist with floor care and waste disposal.
  • Participate in training and comply with policies.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
