Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking staff to assist patients with meal selections and to ensure meals align with dietary orders during their hospital stay. You will help clarify options and coordinate meal delivery with unit staff.

• Deliver meals and snacks, and coordinate with staff to ensure timely service.
• Prioritize multiple tasks such as menu selection, meal pickup, and delivery to meet patient needs.

Job description

Serves as the key point of contact for patients, their families' and unit staff in to order to meet patient food needs during their hospital stay which includes making meal selections, delivering meals/snacks and clarifying food/meal options available based upon patient's diet order. Staff members must be able to prioritize competing time demands to complete work- juggle menu selections, completed meal pickup and delivery.
