Job summary

dsm-firmenich's Health, Nutrition & Care unit in Schenectady seeks a Process Operations Technician to handle raw materials, weigh batches, mix, sample, and finalize packaging on a night or evening shift. You will monitor equipment, document deviations, and maintain rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle manual material movements.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials, weigh per batch formulas, mix, blend, sample, and final packaging.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections with safe palletizing and storage.
• Monitor equipment, document deviations, and escalate to Supervisor as needed.
• Communicate process adjustments and concerns clearly to supervisors.
